Balcony Hues

“Inspired by the view from my balcony, i felt drawn to create this piece. i envisioned the colours specific to a particular Bougainvillea plant and had to have the specific hue of pink in this piece.”

Holding Space

This painting came secondary to an unpublished piece. The impulsivity in this 25 x 30 cm canvas was captured in a moment of passion for creating, a passion for feeling.

The piece feels like an earthly yet outerspace crossover. to me, it encapsulates the song“space odity” by David Dowie.

Grace Upon Grace

What started out as an experiment turned into an interpretation of Our Lady, and the ever flowing grace and mercy gifted to us by her Son.

Top left lighter shade may also represent the blood of Jesus Christ.
Blues and lighter colors representing Mary and Jesus’s Grace and Mercy towards us.
Darker colours representing iniquities, darkness.
One may interpret the silhouette of Mother Mary.

this painitng was an experimentation of new materials, i didnt have a specific plan but worked soley by intution

To me this piece feels like a nostalgic piece, possibly echoing the song “two ghosts” by harry styles
